A message from the Ontario Public Research Interest Group (OPIRG) Kingston:
Thursday, August 25, is OPIRG’s AGM at the Grey House at 5pm.
This looks to be an exciting year for OPIRG as it welcomes and continues to seek new board members, as well as an active broader membership both on and off campus. This year’s RadFrosh will build on the success of last year’s by responding to the demand for more anti-oppression workshops and social justice oriented entertainment. The full schedule will be confirmed by week’s end. Board members will report on the success and lessons learned from last year, as well as the vision for the rest of this year’s initiatives, including Push It this fall.
In the meantime, OPIRG continues to develop their strategy plan for
the upcoming year and seeks input from undergraduates, grad students, and community members. Please attend and spread the word to your networks about tomorrow’s AGM at the Grey House at 51 Bader Lane at 5pm.
